New Music: Weekly Releases for March 17, 2024
NEW MUSIC ALERT
Fresh off my road trip from visiting my parents up in Chicago, IL, while it was nice spending time with my loved ones, I'm ready to get back to work! I have some exciting stuff coming up soon and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you all, so stay tuned for updates!
Joyner Lucas is set to drop his album "Not Now Im Busy" on March 22nd. The anticipation is high, especially once a snippet of his collaboration with Nashville's Golden Child, Jelly Roll, started circulating online.
DeFord's contribution on “Best For Me” chorus gives listeners goosebumps (in the best way possible). By far, one of my favorite melodies showcasing Jelly Roll’s strong vocal performance. With 17 tracks in total, fans can expect a substantial body of work from Joyner Lucas .
Additionally, features from YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Conway The Machine won’t go unnoticed on the album.
Listen to “Best For Me”, here.
Kacey Musgraves has returned with her album "Deeper Well," featuring 14 captivating songs. Among the standout tracks mentioned are "Deeper Well," "The Architect," "Heaven Is," "Cardinal," and "Sway."
With each song delivering its own unique charm, it's genuinely hit after hit. Musgraves's growth and maturity as an artist are evident, but it truly feels and sounds like our girl walked away wiser from the lessons she gained throughout her Saturn Return, and that's a slay. We're happy to have you back, Ms. Musgraves!
ERNEST, another 615 native, is gearing up for the release of his album titled "NASHVILLE,TENNESSEE" on April 12th. The announcement comes with the revelation of a collaboration with Jelly Roll, adding to the excitement surrounding the project. ERNEST's latest pre-release single, "I Went To College / I Went To Jail," gives listeners a taste of what to expect from the upcoming LP.
With strong ties to the Nashville music scene, ERNEST's album promises to showcase his songwriting prowess and musical versatility. (I’m hoping to see his Hip-hop influences sprinkled in a song or two.)
The Black Crowes have unleashed their latest album, "Happiness Bastards," comprising 10 tracks. Notably, the band managed to record the entire project in just two and a half weeks, emphasizing their efficiency and creative synergy. With this album, fans can expect a raw and unfiltered musical experience, reflecting the band's signature sound and energy. "Happiness Bastards" marks another milestone in the Black Crowes' illustrious career, showcasing their enduring passion for music and their commitment to delivering quality rock compositions.
