New Music: Weekly Releases for February 25, 2022

Let’s get straight to the latest bops to drop as well as the one or two that did not..

Per usual, Kanye never dropped his anticipated, ‘Donda 2.’ There were many angry fans that were rightfully upset of the hold up considering they dropped $200.00 on the stem player. For those that don’t know, Ye announced that his scheduled February 22nd release would only be available via the stem player. However, the day came and went without an album.

It’s also important to note, there were mixed reviews of Donda 2 following Kanye’s listening party in Miami, Florida. Snippets of a few tracks have circulated various social platforms with the comment sections flooded by fans and critics alike. Whether or not it was an off day for the music mogul, many fans were not impressed with Ye’s lack of ability to stick to his own deadline.

Can’t say I blame them.

Fortunately for music lovers around the way, our girl Avril came through clutch with her first album under DTA Records, ‘Love Sux’ as promised. The project features Mark Hoppus, blackbear, MGK, and Travis Barker.
