New Music: Weekly Releases for April 28, 2024

Hello, music lovers! Thanks for coming back for this week’s #newmusic alert brought to you by yours truly. While I'd love to dive into the ongoing saga between “The Big 3” and Future, Metro, and the rest of the crew, I reckon you've probably caught wind of the latest gossip elsewhere. It seems like that's been the hot topic of discussion for the past few weeks.
In the spirit of keeping things light, I'm steering clear of the drama for now and focusing on the positive vibes around here. But depending on how things unfold next week, I might just spill the tea at a later date. So, let's dive right in!
Latin Music icon, Wisin, debuted his latest album, "Mr. W.” With 20 tracks packed with classic Reggaeton beats, this album gives listeners that throwback 2000’s urban music we so fondly appreciated all these years ago.
Wisin killed it on the collaborations, enlisting the talents of Mora, Gabito Ballesteros, Nengo Flow, and Anuel AA, among other luminaries in the Latin music sphere.
Among the standout tracks on "Mr. W" are "Puro Guayeteo," "Himalaya," "Desnuda", "Comerte Toa,” and "Devorandonos.” "Tu Recuerdo" will put you in your feels.. but you cant help shake it, quite literally.
With "Mr. W," Wisin is here to remind the yound bulls Reaggaeton that he is still very much in the game.
On the other end of the spectrum lies Justice's "Hyperdrama," a 13-track odyssey through the realms of electronic music. Known for their uniqueness, Justice delivers an album for Dance Music genre connoisseurs.
"Hyperdrama" sees Justice collaborating with a diverse array of artists, including ThunderCat, RIMON, Tame Impala, Miguel, and The Flints, each contributing their unique flair to the track.
Tracks like "Rush" and "Overdrive" showcase Justice's mastery of rhythm and melody, while "Reverie" and "Transcendence" invite listeners on a journey through atmospheric soundscapes and ethereal textures. With "Hyperdrama," Justice once again serves an eclectic dish of electronic music for all to enjoy.
